Cynthia Salinas was contracted by the Department of Defense to produce a weekly news program and dramatically increase the standard of production for the Fort Benning Public Affairs. Creating a sustainable operation for civilian employees with little to no "network" experience "Around Your Army", the flagship program, cemented the new standard. Fort Benning and has been honored as the Keith L. Ware winner for "Best Local Broadcast" several years in a row.
